Updating a PHP script to retrieve data from an API, convert it, and place it in a MySQL database

I currently have a PHP script already developed that upon execution downloads and imports data from a .csv file into a MySQL database. I need to add some functionality to it that will retrieve data from some API URLs and import it into the same MySQL database... (Budget: $30 - $250 USD, Jobs: MySQL, PHP)
